Skadden’s Latest Action Fits into Pattern of Zealous Overbilling That Has Cost TransPerfect More Than $50 Million Throughout Chancery Court-Appointed Custodianship

WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--More than three years after completion of the unprecedented forced sale of TransPerfect, Chancery Court-appointed Custodian Bob Pincus from Skadden Arps and Skadden partner Jennifer Voss continue to threaten ongoing litigation and costly legal proceedings rather than simply accepting the money paid to them.

A recent letter from Voss to TransPerfect’s lawyers indicates that Skadden has refused to cash a more than $1.1 million payment made on behalf of the firm for outstanding debts owed due to unfounded accusations of “bad faith” and procedural hairsplitting.
